Now, here's the plan...
Rick's Nursery and Landscaping is proud to introduce our PlanScape Program for new homeowners!
This service is especially for those homeowners who need some help with their landscaping ideas and plans.
To get you started, you may print the entire PlanScape Program package, to your printer by simply clicking on the [PRINT] icon. After you've printed the package, read all of the instructions carefully. Then answer all the questions on the questionnaire, take the photographs asked for, include a copy of your Plat Plan and bring or mail the completed package to the Nursery.
At this point, one of our professional Gardeners will take your package, and based on your answers to the questions, photos and Plat Plan they will prepare an informal yet detailed plan for your project.
When this plan is ready (you should allow us at least two weeks for this process) we'll call you and ask you to come to the Nursery for a consultation. That's when we'll show you the finished project and a list of plants we've chosen to suggest for carrying out that plan. We'll make absolutely sure that you are completely satisfied with and understand the design before going any further.
The next step is...
...to implement your project. There are actually several options available to you for carrying out your landscape plan:
-
First, you may take your PlanScape Program plan, pick out your plants and begin working.
-
Or, as a second option you could have Rick's Nursery and Landscaping prepare an estimate of what it would cost us to do the work, then sit back and leave the project to us. We have years of professional landscaping experience, and back that up with our exclusive two-year plant warranty. Our work includes, edging, rock work, soil preparation, sodding and the installation of trees, shrubs and plant materials - and more. You just say the word and we'll get started!
-
A third option is that we prepare a formal landscape design plan for you, and you request other contractors to submit bids to you for doing the work. Enhanced, computer generated design work is more complex and is available for reasonable prices.
So, what does all this cost?
Aside from the time and energy you use to put the PlanScape Program package together, those cost to you is exactly nothing! Zero! Zip! Nada! (Except for the computer enhanced design plans).
Step-by-Step Instructions
Completely fill out the PlanScape Program Questionnaire. Be sure to include any information you believe might help your designer complete the plan. Use extra pages if needed.
Take at least five color photos of the area to be landscaped. Suggested views include at least one picture taken from each property line facing the main structure (house). Another view would be from the house facing each property line. The idea here is that you really can't take too many pictures.
If your photos show existing landscape features and structures - that's good. But, it they don't show these things you should provide that information. A good way to do this is on a copy of your Plat Plan lightly sketch in those details with a number 2 pencil. You would want to include such things as grassy/sodded areas, rock or timber retaining walls, trees, sidewalks, sheds and driveways.
Bring (or mail) your completed PlanScape Program package to the Nursery. When we get it we'll match it up with one of our professional Gardeners, who'll analyze it and draw an informal plan for you. When the plan is ready the Gardener will call to set up an appointment with you. They will review the plan with you in detail and explain everything so you thoroughly understand the design.
